EMT TRAINING - Prepares cadets to take the EMT National Registry Exam when they turn 18. This 2 week training provides cadets with hands-on experience in how to perform physical exams, access trauma, administer oxygen, perform airway maintenance and semi-automatic defibrillation, and administer medication..

SEARCH & RESCUE TRAINING - A 2 week course designed to provide knowledge concerning the general responsibilities, skills, abilities, and equipment needed by persons who would be participating in a search or rescue mission. The SAR Tech II course curriculum will be taught and the certification test given. Training will be provided during the 2 weeks by the Coast Guard, an Instructor from the National Association of Search & Rescue, and Sea Cadet Officers and staff.

FIRST RESPONDER - A two week course designed to provide NSCC cadets the knowledge needed in providing care for medical emergencies. The term "first responder" is applied to the first individual who arrives at the scene of a medical emergency. The First Responder uses a limited amount of equipment to perform initial assessment and intervention and is trained to assist other EMS providers.

MASS COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST TRAINING - A 2 week course designed to provide knowledge about digital photography, learning how to "tell a story with pictures", website uploading, graphic design & desktop publishing, and construction & editing of Powerpoint presentations. |

RECRUIT TRAINING - A cadets introduction to military routine and discipline and is the cadets first step towards advancing in the Sea Cadet Program. Cadets spend 2 weeks learning basic Navy subjects, elementary seamanship, basic damage control and quarter's maintenance. Additionally, cadets participate in Physical Fitness Training.

NLCC ORIENTATION & ADVANCED - A week long training comprised of NLCC Cadet Orientation or "mini boot camp" for new cadets, and advanced training for senior cadets. Cadets are instructed in military drill and discipline and are taught from a syllabus covering naval history to ship nomenclature to uniform care and wearing.
